One of the ways governments were able to create a vast anti-cannabis mindset, was by airing ads on TV showing the true dangers of cannabis. Here are 6 of our favourites.

In a world where there’s no cannabis, there’s cannabis everywhere.
I can’t find any recordings online of the classic commercials from the early 2000s, where the actor starts off smoking a joint under an overpass and missing sports practice, then is late to work so gets fired from his job, then is having bongs when some friends come around and ask him to come to a party, and he says ‘I think I’ll just stay home’.
I met the actor on a bus and I always loved that commercial. It was a series and there were other ones for other drugs and there was also a tie-in poster campaign in club and bar toilets.
If anyone has this on VHS or online please let me know, very keen to see it again! It was one of the funniest anti-cannabis commercials and it’s no where to be found online.
